Hemlock, Beech and Fern…

The sun trickles though the woods, as does Roberts Run, on a cold November morning.  Although it is mid-November, there is still color in the NW Pennsylvania forests.  The Beech trees always seem to be the last to lose their leaves, some ferns still green, and the native hemlock is always a stately green.
